Rules

You are important to us as a community member. So are rules though. Rules regarding the AO server, the Discord server, the Suggestion Doc and cases can be found briefly here. Please do not try to break any of these. "We just look not busy because you are watching." Speak english most of the time, please.

1. Respect everyone. It should be common sense that you should treat how you want to be treated.

2. No NSFW. We will not allow any kind of NSFW on our server. That goes for the AO server too.

3. Try to avoid drama. Drama can't be avoided forever but try to stay away from it. If you have a problem, talk to one of the moderators.

4. Don't ping for no reason. Some people get quickly annoyed if they get pinged for no reason.

5. Use the correct channels. Don't talk about global warming in a case-related channel. You get the idea.

6. Spamming is prohibited. Except in the channels that gave you permission to spam. But in general, no one likes spamming.

Note: Most of the rules from our Discord server apply to the AO server too. A few additional rules will be shown here though. Rule Nr. 1, 2, 3, 6 and 8 apply here.

1. Use our content only on our server. If you use other's server files, issues might be showing up. Not just for you.

2. Make a second AO! This is more of a tip but make a copy of vanilla AO and copy+paste our files in there to avoid a mix-up between other server files. This is sorta related to Nr. 1.

3. Iniediting is allowed. If you iniedit a character though that is not on our server, don't forget to give out the files for everyone who is there ATM.

4. Follow a moderator's instructions. If a moderator asks you to do something, please do it. However, if you think it's inappropriate or has no use, contact another moderator.

7. Only the owner is allowed to change/add/remove rules. If you have an idea for a rule though, contact the owner about it and a meeting will be held with the other moderators.

5. Move to the correct areas. Do not play a case in the lobby but rather in the for that designed area. We would like to avoid that newbies suddenly walk into a random case.

8. Banning depends on the moderator. The moderator who has taken control of the situation will decide if the one, that started the issue, will get a warning or ban (length of the ban included).

1. Limit of suggestions. Please suggest only 3 things per month. Suggesting 1 Million things won't do any good to the server.

6. No music wars. If a song is currently playing, ask if you can change it. Shared music is always better than some clusterfuck.

7. Roleplays are allowed. This server is mostly focused on cases but roleplays are allowed to be played in the areas "Games & Extras 1 - 3".

Cases

1. Move to a case area. This is basically rule Nr. 5 from the

AO server rules but more specific.

2. Declines. If your suggestion got declined, please do not suggest them again. We probably had our reason for it to be declined.

A bit of extra information can be found on the Suggestion Doc itself. Please read it carefully.

2. Don't interrupt a case. If you are unsure if a case is currently played or not, ask in OOC. This is a common mistake some do and we would like that you avoid it at all cost.

3. Any kind of case is alright. Wether a normal case or an improv case, all kinds of cases are allowed to be played here. Except NSFW as mentioned in previous rules.

However, the most important rule is...

Have fun and a good time

on our server!
